Backup and Restore data Blackberry

If you want to wipe /reset your blackberry , and you don’t want to lose your data
You can backup your data on Blackberry,
First You must install Blackberry Desktop Manager, this installer
Include on CD when you buy some Blakberry,
After you finish Install Blackberry Desktop Manager ,

You can see this menu like this picture




Pick “ backup and Restore” Then you can see thes menu,

- Restore
- Advance -





When you chose Backup , it will backup all your data as *.IPD file , they will backup all your data , like address book, Messaging, Email, picture
- When You Choose Advace , You can choose data that you want to backup like you can only backup the address book and sms , or you can backup only SMS and data
The data will be store in one file with extention *.IPD
- When you Choose Restore file , you can restore that you backup , you can find file with extention *.IPD


When You Choose Advance ,
You can choose what data that you want to backup , After you choose some data you can save the data

There are two ways to get new themes from the Internet onto your BlackBerry:
• Copy from your PC
First download the new theme to your PC and unzip it if necessary. Plug your Blackberry to your computer, open your Desktop Manager software and select Application Loader. Choose 'Open', then 'Add'. When the dialog box opens up, find the 'alx' file associated with the theme you have just downloaded, select it, and click OK.

• Over The Air (OTA)
To download a theme to your BlackBerry Over-The-Air, simply open the Browser application on your BlackBerry and go to the URL specified by the theme provider. Your BlackBerry will automatically download the theme and install it on your device

Selecting a New Theme On Your BlackBerry
Once your new BlackBerry Theme is installed on your BlackBerry, switching between themes is simple. Open up the 'Options' application on your BlackBerry, select 'Themes', then choose your new theme from the list. Your new theme will then be active.
